MY ADULT MINIATURE PINSCHERS

BUDDY, FREDDY, LADY, RUBY, ROSIE AND PENNY
MY SWEET MINIATURE PINSCHERS FULL OF LOVE AND SO CUDDLY!
My min pins love to cuddle in my lap or any lap with a blankie (1st come 1st serve) so be careful when you sit down sometimes they are over anxious to get in your lap and they end up under you!!
--Lady is very fast and loves to zoom through the house; she loves company Min Pin or people alike whoever will cuddle.
--Roscoe thinks he is a parrot and wants to be on your shoulder or head--but stranger beware he is super protective of his family!! He is now 12 years old and is officially retired from breeding.

--Penny was a bit of a handful learning manners. Believe it or not my other Miniature Pinschers are teaching her manners.  Not only what is acceptable amongst the dogs but also what she can and can't do to humans.  She was a bit of a rough-ion when she first came here at 9 months old.  The wonderful gentleman I got her from loved her a lot but had health problems and allowed a little too much rough housing.  I often compared her previous behavior to the Tootsie Roll commercial Owl...she would lick you three times then snip at you (one two three, crunch)...not drawing blood or being aggressive just her way of playing like puppies do with each other.  It's not too rough if the one you're playing with has fur. Lady was my biggest teacher/protector.  Any time Penny would get too rambunctious Lady would chase her off the bed or couch.  Eventually, Penny learned how much and how hard she could play before Lady would put an end to it.  It was fun to watch but I was so proud of Lady (she is one of my babies I have raised since birth). Being a Min Pin person (being around them a lot) and being able to watch their behavior and personalities from year to year and litter to litter it is much easier to train them...especially with other pretrained dogs around!
--Rosie is my runner...she is nonstop running when she is outside.  She runs so much that she had created a racetrack like wall of dirt in her run circle. But once inside she is like everyone elses and she wants to be in someone's lap.
--Buddy and Freddy are my new generation of males. They are both around 7 pounds making them smaller than my females which is good news for my girls. They are super smart and playful but are a little competitive especially when someone is coming into heat.  They are "fighting" (not violently) for the position of Alpha male.  I keep them separated during the most intense times for two reasons. One because I don't want them to hurt each other.  And two because I make them take turns for each litter depending on who is in heat. That way I can be certain of the litter's father.
Juggling who gets the attention is hard but fun...I love them all so much! They are my family...we are a pack!
